This crank came on a Ron Boi custom from the Mid West. The spiders and inner edges of the rings have been nicely rounded over and thinned. I'd like to run this on my Medici but the current 53/48 combo is bit odd. I want to match the profile on a 42 inner ring, but I'm not sure how the profile was made. It looks like it was done by hand with a die-grinder to me, but I would be interested in other's opinions. It is a nice job; it looks like they may have been re-anodized, as the color of the worked areas is constant with the rest of the arm. Not sure why they left the sharp edge on the two inside faces at the arm though? Here's pics:
