This company sells Whitworth bolts in one-of quantities, which might be useful to Viscount bike owners, or to GB stem owners.

Are there any other good UK sources for Whitworth nuts and bolts ?? I have been unable to find any "tall" Whitworth or M8x1.00 nuts, as were used on GB stems. This one is 1.25 (normal) pitch threaded, I think :

For my stem the solution was to use M8x1.00 nuts and grind down some M8x1.00x25 bolts, which are probably a class-B fit for interchanging with 5/16 Whitworth nuts and bolts.
