Are you using the original black brake pads (rubber) with round dots moulded
(4 pieces)?

Or, harder ones (old-hardened-oxidized?) with certain rim (?) give you super
noise!
Check and see hardness of pair (should be matcning) and try to toe in the best angle to quiet down. I think the Mafac center-pull is one of best stopping brake
calipers!
