The famous Lou Deeter will be in town from Florida this coming Thursday June 1, 2006 and to celebrate The BVVW will be getting together for a special evening of fun and food. The fun starts at about 5:00-6:15 p.m. at:

We will consume various types of beer from among about 200 different brands. Loud, and FUN!
Then, at about 6:30p.m. or so, the group will make it's way to some wonderful Manhattan restaurant to gorge, chit chat, and end up in DEEP conversation about some yet unknown subject (sure!).
The possibilities for dinner include: - an Italian joint that Mike Schmidt knows on 38th st., he says it looks like it's from the 50's! (this is most likely), -Katz's Deli for a little Jewish nosh (Houston Street; Lower East Side; hear that Ritchie?), -Lil' Frankies (#19-1st Ave., between 1st and 2ed St.) for EXTREEM brick oven pizza and foccacino (like a warm thin Italian pita bread with some ricotta and prociutto and a little truffle oil. WOW!!!), and -Michael Jordan's (Grand Central Station) for steak.
