Rick, not to put down your interest in the Simplex, but what is your issue with the Duopar? I have one in service and it's essentially a great shifter, at least on an off-topic cluster.

\r?\n> On the CR page, French components, a long cage Simplex is shown in the header

\r?\n> but not discussed.

\r?\n>

\r?\n> Can anyone, please, explain the particulars of this long cage Simplex rear

\r?\n> mech?

\r?\n>

\r?\n> Yes, I may need a long cage but haven't a clue as to what I should be seeking.

\r?\n> I would prefer European though, the preference many listers have for Suntours of

\r?\n> the VGt variety is compelling. I have a Huret Duopar Eco but, I am of the

\r?\n> impression that is less than desireable

\r?\n>

\r?\n> Thank you.
