Don,

you have way too much confidence in vintage frame builders. I believe that with a tongue-in-groove dropout attachment, the position of the rear axle can be adjusted by many mm's in all 4 angles of the compass. Thus, if the alignment of the frame is off, its fixed with the tongue-in-groove?
