I must confess that I did not like the Dubois lugs as well as the fancy Nervex, although I wouldn't pass up a nice PX-10 only because of that. One of my three PX-10s has the DuBois lugs. However, I think these were used only a year or two, and I believe the PX-10 returned to the fancy Nervex in the mid 70's for a while before adopting Italian style longer point lugs in the late 70's.

That is correct, if one wants an accurate example in good condition or better, with paint quality that it would be hard to get a current pro painter to replicate in finish detail. Brian Baylis has essentially stated that he could not bring himself to do it.
This Dubois PX is a good example that even back then lugs with more visual detail, and therefore higher perceived value by many, went a long way in hiding the lack of finish of mass produced frames. the Raleigh International, a contemporary to the PX-10 got away with similar quick construction, perhaps a wee bit more attention as it got chrome, but I bet it was enhanced due to buffing, not file work.
A poor marketing decision by Peugeot at the time changing away from Nervex head and seat lugs. As a current display piece, the lugs hold it back also.
