Howdy folks, I was reviewing the images of this bike on ebay for a friend and found some "issues" that the group should be aware of. It is a DeRosa 35th anniversary frame (not sure what that means, looks like one of the generic ones from the 1990's that DeRosa did with different retro decals but made with investment cast bits so it all looked a tad off) built with a Campy 50th group. The add says "Unridden and unblemished!" Take a look at the photos and you will see worn cogs on the alloy campy freewheel, and lots of corrosion on the steel bits such as bolts and cable adjusters and toe clips. In my mind, this is neither unridden nor unblemished. Not too bad from the photos - but if you are expecting something perfect as the add says I suspect the buyer might be dissapointed. Also note that the headset is C-rec, not the correct super record. The add does not state if the correct headset is also included. The URL for the bike listing is http://ebay.com/<blah> The item is very hard to find on ebay - it is inside the CyclArt ebay store and has a buy it now price of $3,895. The bike may be extremely nice in person, and with some clean-up might be quite a nice machine. It just does not seem to jive with the description. Mike Kone in Boulder CO
