I have listed a few small items on ebay.uk, including some Chater-Lea hubs, Sturmey-Archer wingnuts, and a refurbished Gran Sport Mech. You can find them under my name of petmarbro. It is a while since I last listed any surplus items, and I am somewhat puzzled by the way in which old cycle items now appear in several different categories, including collectables/transportation/cycling, sports memorabilia/cycling, sporting goods/cycles/bikes/road bikes, and sporting goods/cycles/parts/vintage parts. Is this an attempt by ebay to persuade us all to pay for listing in more than one category, or are they just as confused as me?
Regarding Doug Smith's comments about all the paperwork for sending parcels overseas by Parcelforce. So far as I can remember, items over 2 Kg have always needed that documentation, but the Post Office is quite willing to give you a supply so that they are completed before you get to the Post Office. He is right to warn of things getting worse though, and the implementation date of the new volumetric pricing is August 21st, and then watch the queues at the counters grow!
