I was taught that Stronglight removal tools were 23.35mm (actually 23.35mm x 1.) Wanted to make sure so I checked an old "United Bicycle Tools" catalog that I have laying around dated spring/summer 1997. Flip to page 16. Third item down or the far right says: STRONGLIGHT CRANK EXTRACTOR: "Professional quality tool fits pre-1982 Stronglight cranks which had 23.35mm diameter threading. Use of any other tool in these cranks is likely to strip the threads. Professional quality. VR-22/2 $21.00."
