FOR SALE:
A really nice set of road wheels; Campagnolo 28 hole front and 28 hole rear small flange "Record" hubs, built cross 3 with DT 14 straight gauge stainless steel spokes, SUN ME14A 700C clincher dark bronze anodized rims with an old set of Specialized Turbo C 700C tires (old ?, grey rubber, tan sidewalls, like new and seem fully usable). These wheels have been laced so that the valve hole is between a "small" spoke space (NOT the way I build um, but some guys like um this way. Ride is the same , but the "pump space" is smaller). These wheels are LIKE NEW; they have been ridden by me once on a Basso fillet brazed frame (which I'm going to sell with tubulars) just to test ride the bike for 40 miles. These wheels came from a bunch of stuff that I bought from a fella that had to give up riding. A lot of his stuff was n.o.s.; so I might have been the first to ride on them. There is NO RUN WEAR or any signs of use on the rims. A couple of unaffecting storage marks only. This wheel set is straight and true and runs smooth. Also, looks like the first build on the front hub and the second on the rear. Comes with correct and clean Campagnolo quick releases with curved handles. Can I please chisel one a youse outta $125.00 plus shipping?
