All,
there's been a rash of bike shop break-ins in the San Jose area over the last 2 weeks. Be on the look out for any bikes up for sale on ebay or Craigslist that appear to be very new and possibly underpriced. I don't know what was taken from all of the shops, but in speaking with Vance at Cupertino Bikes, he says that 4 Cervelos and 1 Specialized Tarmac SL were taken on the night of 5/3/06. Fortunately, it doesn't appear that anyone has been hurt in the break-ins as they occurred while the shops were closed. Here's the link for the story:
