I imported Cinelli SC bikes directly from Cinelli & C. from ca. 1958-1962. Those bikes came with Weimann 999 center-pull brakes, not Universal 61 CP brakes. I know you didn't mention the date of your frame, but I thought this info would be helpful for your restoration. Cino's wife, Heidi Seiber, was from Switzerland, so she probably had some influence on the components to be use on his bikes. Likewise, I'm sure some person from the Italian trade commission eventually convinced Cino to use Italian made Universal brakes. I believe that change occurred in the mid-60s.
