David, I would agree with Frank's period, though I would close it in to 1968-72. I have a few Falcon catalogues from that period so if you post any pics or email (not too large) I will see if we have a match. Take a look at Jerry Moos's Falcon with chrome lugs on Dale's Classic site.

I have one big question thats been looming over my head for a long time now. I have a Falcon bike with all Campy NR that has chrome nervex pro lugs. It has long horizontal drops and a Falcon head badge. I have hunted and hunted with no clue of its age or production year. It has a front derailluer thats has a cable claw and has only a one sided wire other side cable guide. I dont know if these items were just stuck on there, or came with the frame stock. I know you can never trust add ons and need to date code by serial # only. Any clue as to who I ask? Ask on CR bulletin board? Thanks for any help or guidance with this. I know it could be from late 50's to mid 70's. One peculiar thing.....it has wrap around seat stay tube thats flattened. Thanks again Bruce, Regards, John Proch, LaGrange, Texas
