I'm looking at the Sutherland's Handbook (first one-1974) and there is a chart for Stronglight fixed cup markings:

ENGLISH: 2 rings, 8 sides FRENCH: 1 ring, 8 sides ITALIAN: 1 ring, 2 flats SWISS: (left thread) No rings, 8 sides
