I don't know how many of us will find this useful, but at only 7.7mm the current SRAM 1/8" chain is narrower than many CR timeline derailleur chains. So if you want, you can run an NR derailleur with your 3 cog CycloBenelux/Sturmey conversion.

There must be some cost in strength though as 3/16" is coming back in vogue for BMX and modern Single Speed
