Nice. I think the fork crown alone is worth $150 (even though it's "the wrong kind"). Whoo-hoos are fully called for and appropriate. (Mama don't allow no inappropriate whoo-hoos 'round here)

No, just the crown and BB schell are from George Fischer. I bet there's a little plus sign next to the GF, like GF+ (unless it's sanded off). That's a Swiss thing, like their army, which uses knives apparently...

No way any of the rough sand casting remains, not on any Masi I've seen. I have an untouched example of the BB shell, and lemmetellya, the work they did to make them look nice is fairly amazing. Every square millimeter is filed down quite a bit. So unfortunately that means the roughness you see really is rust.

The lugs are Dubois I'm fairly sure, though the Masi experts should be called in before you believe that. Made by the same company that made the Nervex brand. Dubois means literally "of wood" but I'm pretty sure they're steel.
