Subject: [CR]Another Cirque is Over

After spending three full days and half of another talking bikes and having fun, another Cirque is in the memory bank. The show and swap meet were outstanding, as usual. I suspect the award winners and pictures will start flowing in shortly. I heard several people say that the bike show preparation & judging standards were extremely high and that it was probably the closest thing to a Concours d'Elegance that we have seen in bicycling in years. I seem to have a memory of a lot of people wearing white cotton gloves, but then, the memory is the second thing to go. The bikes were wonderful, but as usual, the people memories are the ones that stick with me. After talking Masi with some folks, I get home to find that Alberto is sitting out in the Gulf of Mexico awaiting a visit. We need the rain. It's good to be home, but it sure was fun. Dale, thanks buddy. You make a lot of great memories for us. Lou Deeter, Orlando FL
