Is there any connection between these bikes and the English titanium Speedwell of the early 70's?

Just wishing to raise the profile of a great dowunder marque, especially as there is a couple of great examples on show (and available).
The first is about to end on auction and is being sold by Warren Meade

and the 2nd has just been listed by Addo Zeverbergen and is a fresh
restoration in period style ....

Every bit as good as Malvern's and to my mind better. Many less surviving examples too. I stand to gain nothing from either sellers but have excellent trading from both vendors in the past and would recommend them. More than all that I really think you cats should check out the auctions as not many good examples come around and they both great looking bikes with lots of cool details and colourful paint. Somewhere on my hard drive I have pics of another early 30's Speedwell I had that was unusual in that it was complete nickel plated.
oh .. in case you missed it 3 : 1 ..... aussie, aussie, aussie !!!!!!!!!!
