Subject: [CR]We should come to Cirque to receive criticism?

I am a bit upset over a posted comment on the judging at Cirque. It said "Give me a break! Don't come around if you aren't willing to take criticism." I don't know about the originator of that quote, but I come to Cirque to enjoy myself and I sure don't see that an ability to take criticism is a prerequisite for my attendance. It is a quote strongly reminiscent of old bumper stickers telling people that if they don't share your beliefs then they should leave this country.
Let's all back off a bit here...the whole thing is meant to be fun. If it's not, maybe we really ought to let it die after next year. If folks are not allowed to make legitimate comment without others urging their expulsion we have lost the spirit of the whole thing. Tom Sanders Lansing, Mi USA
