Don,

That is a very low price for a nice original RRA.

I certainly would have bid on her had I known she was listed on ebay; yet another reason to out items before an auction ends. Based on the bid history, I'm guessing many list members were unaware of the auction.

Someone got a very nice riding bike, in nice condition, with a unique blend of components not typical of similar era bikes. Congrats to the winner - is it a list member?

I can't tell you if the winner is a list member, but he has interesting tastes in vintage bikes. One of his previous wins on the bay is a Franklin tandem. The RRA was outed on bikeforums. Seller found it at a thrift store and paid $25. I have to laugh as I contacted the seller before it ever went to eBuy asking him what he wanted for it. Never got a response and I would have paid more than what he got. So why did I not bid on it? I never bid until the last minute and I simply lost track of time on the auction. So I guess I really did not want it that much. BTW, the frame was 21 inch, not 22.5.

My DeReus arrives this week.... :-)
