I believe that 1973 was the first year of arm marking <3>. I think someone posted recently about the numbers in the square. There were 11's in a square and 22's in a square and I think someones post indicated 33's in a square.

Note that the latest arms may be from a time after the typically accepted termination dates for Nuovo and Super Record. Campy was rumored to have kept small piles of stuff around in reserve for warranty supply I believe. On occasion they would release stuff to the US wholesalers. In around 1992 when I owned Bicycle Classics I purchased a pile of bagged Cobalto calipers that came to a US wholesaler in bulk from such a Campagnolo release. At least that was the "theory" at the time. Unfortunatly all those goodies are long long gone.
