Subject: [CR]1947 Giotto Cinelli bike

Don asked whether anybody had ever seen a Giotto Cinelli bike from the 1940's.

There is at least one in California. The headbadge shows a knight mounted on a horse (not only the knight's head like the later Cinelli logos) The cranks are also marked with G. Cinelli and once again the knight mounted on a horse. According to Andrea Cinelli (son of Cino), who spoke to his uncle Giotto for confirmation, there were very few frames built with the Giotto Cinelli name.
