I too was questioning the abundant paint on this pricey 'Mount. Mostly, it percolated a question that has often plaqued me, especially when working on frames someone has just payed a boat-load of money to have repainted. That is, the re-facing of the bb to remove that generously (and less than precise) layer of paint. I always try to be as gradual as I can when I turn the tool and tighten the spring, but I always cringe a bit as I am doing it. Anyone else experience this and are there any tips or interesting experiences?
