I think the AS means "After Super (Record)" :)
Just kidding, but in truth, I've only seen that stamp on later rings that are of a smaller bolt circle diameter than the 144mm of Super and Nuovo Record rings.

OK Campy experts, I have one for you! I just purchased two Super Record chainrings which are labeled with an "AS" after the number of teeth (e.g. 52-AS). I searched the list and the Campy Only site but could not find an explanation. The Campy chainrings I have only include the number of teeth. Any ideas?
