Hi all, I've read some of the emails from this debarcle, not the early ones thou. I've dealt with some of the big sellers from this list, can't complain there, If I've felt OK to pay what they ask for something then thats what I will pay, some others may say, "OH thats too much for that", well its my money, I'm a big enough man to say what I can do with my $$$$$$. Anything I've bought has arrived at some time, sellers mainly keep in touch if things are going slow on their end.

I myself have a well enough paying job, therefore i don't need to sell parts for a living, I do so as a hobby, thus enabling me to trade for stuff for my own steeds, and maintain them in a standard I like.

I recently bought a complete Campagnolo pista front axle, I don't need to name the person, but it was a nice fast smooth tranzaction, & was even better for me when it came complete with cones, washers & locknuts. So now the hub has been rebuilt with the new axle, dust sheilds ( the wheel came to me without them fitted) & balls, but it still owes me what I consider a reasonable price. One day someone may be asking for one, I'll offer it, & maybe it will sell, maybe it won't. Its nice to have a nice cond 28H large flange pista hub sitting there, make a nice paperweight, I could even convert it back to a road hub if I needed, as it came to me as a road wheel.

So afterall it just sounds like a little sour grapes from someones behalf, if they did'nt want to pay that amount, they should not have, I've never gotten any people complaing about a price I sold something to them for, I daresay the day I sold a NOS Campagnolo metal hub cap for $5, thay person was happy, I made a small profit, which would have been used to purchase something for myself, my paypal acc is still over $150, so I can play a little on eBay, providing what I want is there, I still keep waiting for someone to list there small sales list with something to tempt me.

We are all here doing different things, but at the end of the day, I for one am happy with all the deals I've ever had here. I know I've sent the odd item out, & gotten an email afterwards commenting on the fact that the part may not have been NOS, so I learnt look a bit closer before telling someone that it is NOS. Quite a few times I myself have recieved items sold to me as NOS, & while they arrived & clearly were not NOS, they were good enough to me to use for what I needed them for, afterall I'm not talking about a lot of money here. But I daresay the day someone sends me a Gian Robert FD for my Rigi telling me its NOS & arrives second hand, well I'm sure I'll comment then, I better sign of before Dale thinks I've dribbled enough...regards wayne davidson Invers NZ.........NO riding here as is frosty with Ice & winter.
