The Ritchey (and Hetchins) seat stay treatments are essentially the same
as that on my '75 Condor Superb, shown here: <

it with the "fastback" seat cluster, but it was a common feature of
several Condor designs, one of which was also called the Italia, just
not usually the Superb (fancy lugwork model.) It was my understanding
that this was a design feature introduced by W.B. Hurlow.
