I have several Arius saddles, which often were seen on Zeus bikes. Never seen a seatpost though. Zeus was traditionally cheaper than Campy, but the early 80's Zeus 2000 gruppo, which used titanium much more extensively - and much more intelligently - than Campy SR, probably wasn't much cheaper, although it was a whole lot better.

I wonder if perhaps they were an affiliate or a subsidiary of "Zeus". I do have a couple quite nice Zeus copies of the first generation Campy 2-bolt Super Record posts, just as you describe, and indeed they too were very beauifully polished. As I recall, the Zeus products always sold for perhaps half the cost of the Campy originals - and they never broke.

"...can anybody give me info on Arius seatposts. they are made in Spain and look like copies of the fluted two bolt Campy posts. They appear to be very well made, or at least very shiny, if a bit heavy. One is going on one of my bikes. This is another NOS stash I've been offered and know nothing about..."
