And it becomes a track BB? I would say that makes it a road BB installed backwards. Just semantics I guess. Unless you care about the narrower tread (Q factor), lighter weight, symmetry and beauty you get with a real track BB (all other things being equal). Minor points all, I know, but that's a lot of what we do around here right? ;^)

I stand by my assertion that "could possibly make it work on a track bike" is not the same as "track".
