I have always found the early posters were delightful. Here is a French website I came across which shows a chronology of the famous posters:

The company had made bicycles from the 1890s into possibly the 1960s. Before 1910 they were already marketing motor bikes, which along with motorscooters amd motorcycles were probably their most profitable items in post WW II France. There is only one example shown on the CR website, and I've seen only one frameset ever sold on ebay - and that one appeared to be a very heavy and poorly finished example from the late years. I would infer from the use of Peugeot tubing that their bicycle line at least was eventually absorbed into the Peugeot empire.
Looks like they "could have" developed into interesting mass produced touring bicycles at some time during their history, but perhaps they were actually just terrible - in spite of all the charming adverts.
I'm curious if anyone has ever seen earlier examples of the bikes?
Appreciate any info. Thanks!
