I don't believe there was ever a "753" fork blade. To make it thin enough to have any worthwhile weight savings, there supposedly would have been problems bending the heat-treated material. The blades should be 531, though I wonder if those team bikes would have used lighter tubes than standard forks. I have a KOF 1993 Waterford 753 (65cm!) that is one of the best descending bikes I have, and I don't consider the fork particularly different than other comparable steel frame/forks in the stable. I also have a KOF Landshark that is 653 OS, and those blades (straight, though) are also 531.
