Some I have seen trimmed of the background gold stroke, others with this sticker when trimming the transfer was not enough.
One thing I can comment on about three of my four LeJeunes that I have seen without paint, is that while there might be extra brass at times, no evidence of overheating and no gaps.
That and judge the bike by its ride, not the tubing transfer, two of the three were "not to spec".
For reference, I have also been able to repair stripped seat lug threads with an 8 x1.25 helicoil, that and a 25mm long socket head cap screw with a bit of machining and polishing is a suitable alternative to any number of retrofits I have seen.
