It may also have been discontinued because it had a tendency to get chewed up by any stubborn freewheel. Mine lasted about as long as June frost.
I replaced it with the Shimano Dura Ace TL-FW10, which works on Regina two-prong wheels and others that are similar. Machining quality is much better. However, a downside is that a hex socket won't fit it. It requires the standard open-end wrench. It's also available from Bike Tools for $11.50.
