Funny story: Upon assembling my FW Evans Super Continental (it had been
brought to me in bits for easier transport in a car) some years ago I noticed a strange object in the seat post. I managed to get it out, and
it was a simple piece of paper wrapped in multiple layers of cling foil. On the piece of paper there was the address of the owner before the one I´d bought the bike off. So I contacted him, not because I smelt a rat, but just for fun, and he told me how he had gotten the bike out of a small antique shop in the South of England etc. etc.
Low cost, high value, I´d say, with regards to the cling-foil wrapped
address.
