Subject: [CR]Lincoln Imp transfers + British Engineers

Folks, I am sure that the Elswick and Hopper Lincoln Imp models have but a small following with CR members. However, there are some, and I may have an opporunity to source downtube transfers/decals, featuring the name and the Imp himself, or herself/itself? Please get in touch if you are one of the rare afficianados of the marque. So far as the recent posts on engineers vs mechanics, this has been a controversy since Stephenson and the Rocket. Practical engineers vs hands on mechanics. The Germans solved the problems with the term Ingenieur; trust them to sort things out! As a chartered engineer with a degree in mechanical engineering and also having served a marine engineering apprenticeship I can honestly say that the status of a degree is not important to me. It is how you treat people and how you achieve results that ultimately counts.
