This is the second one of these i've had. Both too big for me. This one is a 58cm. I originally bought it with the intentions of keeping the super record group, but decided to keep it in one piece.
I decided to offer it to the CR group for $850 (plus shipping) before it goes on ebay. Almost everything is exactly the same as the bike in the advetisement on the CR Benotto page -
Full Campagnolo Super Record group in near perfect, used condition. The anodizing on the pedals hasn't even begun to wear through. No real scrapes on any of the components to speak of
Pantographed Benotto Cinell Stem and Bars.
Campy hoods dried and cracked (need replacing)
Bernard Hinault saddle a bit worn, but usable.
Christophe cages (rusty)
Original Benotto cage Straps and pump
The bike looks like it really hasn't been ridden much at all. The handlebar wrap seems to be the original.
The frame is in great condition but needs some clean up. All the decals in good shape. The bottom bracket has some really attractive cutouts. An I (for Italy i think),A couple B's and a heart. Diamond chainstays. And very beautiful lug work.
The bike was garaged, but in a very humid town, so there is light specks of surface rust on the fork crown, chainstay and a couple areas over the paint on frame. From three feet away it's not visible, and it seems it would be a quick and easy clean up job for someone who know what they're doing.
I will email pictures to anyone interested in buying.
