Albert Eisentrauts BBs were Italian as that size was closest to US tooling. Were Italian bikes always the Metric thread even in the very old days?
           I sell fasteners to make a living and see reversed stuff all the time, threading is spec'ed after the fact so odd sizes abound.
                         Anyone looking for 9,11 or 13mm taps?
