I had a Raleigh Competition from the late 60's. It had Nervex Professional lugs, and they were chromed. Zeus dropouts. Zeus and Simplex components.
Black bike, chrome lugs. A pleasing combination.

Does your Competition have Nervex lugs? According to Sheldon's site
the Competition didn't have Nervex. There are 2 braze ons, but just
only one near the head tube. The other Internationals I've seen have
3 total - 2 up near the head tube - see

I stripped a little paint off the lugs and honestly I can't tell if they're chrome or not. I could tell on the stays because I could see the line where the chroming stopped. In reality it doesn't really matter - no matter what I'll be stripping and repainting it.
Thanks
