What a beautiful bike! The attention to detail, and the subtle modifications to suit the tourist are wonderful. I like the brazed on mount for the front changer, although you had better like Huret Alvit's. The vertical dropouts were about 20 years before their wide application, too. One question, though? Why are the hub Q/R's on the opposite side from where most everyone places them? Is this a French thing, a Herse thing, or just a quirk of this particular bikes assembly?
