Fifty-Six Years Ago - Ferdi Kubler's Frejus:

Big colorized photo of 1950 Tour de France winner Ferdi Kubler. Note the (Weinmann?) front calipers with very long adjustment slots for the pads allowing use with short or long-reach framesets, donut gums on the brake levers, full chrome fork, Campagnolo quick release skewer on the front hub with wing nuts on the rear hub, fender eyelets front and rear, Simplex derailleurs. Looks like an extra cable guide/stop at the midpoint of the right chainstay.
