Bob, all I can do is defer to the master, Sheldon Brown. His site even has the pages reprinted from the book I got!! But, he has the 73 catalog link on his site (and above). The brakes in the 1973 catalog are Dura-Ace and sidepulls. So, the actual pair of Dura-Ace calipers that you have that are identical to the Tourney center-pulls have me stumped. I'm not familiar with Shimano center-pulls enough to really comment. Lou Deeter, Orlando FL

Hi Lou, Does your information happen to indicate when Dura-Ace had used (and then discarded) their "Center-Pull" brakeset?

I have a 1974 catalog which shows the Shimano center-pulls as "Tourney" components: [model B-110 = 47-65mm... Model B-120 = 57-75mm]. However, I also have an actual pair of Dura-Ace calipers, which were identical, and those did not appear with the '74 listings.

Thanks!
