I just acquired a beautiful Jack Taylor Tourist frameset, serial #8232 along with its rear rack. As some of you might be aware, the racks are built and numbered for specific framesets. Well, this frameset once had a front rack as evidenced by the following link to Joel Metz' excellent Jack Taylor Site:

I know this is a long shot, but if anyone out there knows the whereabouts of the front rack for the Jack Taylor, Serial #8232, I would very much like to know. Although the bike will build up fine without this rack, I would like to see it find its original home. Thank you.
