If you look at the Serotta catalogues in
Mark Bulgiers most excellent website
in the 85 serotta catalogue on page 9
it discusses the Serotta Titan.
and states " These are the same bicycles that were
used in the new Warner Brothers movie "American Flyers" "
>From this statement it would appear that that the specialized
weren't specialized at all.
I believe that the Titan was serotta's early attempt at an off the shelf production bike, similiar to the Eisentraut Limited, and Dave Moulton's Fuso.
