I haven't seen much posted about August 13 ths Larz show so I felt I should put up a bit of a report. First, much thanks to Maurice Breznahan, Peter "ex Hetchins" Naiman, and the folks at the museum. They did a great job and I know it is much appreciated by those who attended. As usual it was a great fun event. As Maurice says, it is like a lawn party and that is just what it is; very low key and very friendly. Nice folks walking around looking at the bikes, folks who don't collect or often know that much but just like bikes. They stop, ask questions, and really appreciate the effort that exhibitors bring to their irons. I'll let Peter do the formal report with pics that I know he will be doing but...I just want to say one thing. This is a great event that deserves more support. It doesn't have the multi-day intensity of the Cirque or, (I have to assume because I have not had the chance to attend.... yet!) Velo Rendevous. But it is perhaps the only oportunity in the North East for the addicted to gather. I only wish a lot more of, as Perg might say, youz (is that how you spell it JP) guys would come out.....maybe next year. Perg also gets a round of applause with Peter N. for taking on the onerous task of judging. It was done professionally, fairly, and well (I say so cause I won sonething) and it seems that everybody went away happy. Anyway, thanks again to all of you who helped make this a success (thats all of us) and especially to the above named suspects. Come out next year.....its close to N.H, VT, Conn, RI, NY etc. no reason for not supporting our only local show. Edward Albert Chappaqua, NY
