I have a pair of wheels that came on my P-15 1972 Paramount...Campy high flange hubs, Weinman rims, Schwinn Super Record tires, 27x1 1/8. I have owned the bike for about 20 years, so I am not the original owner. I have no idea whether the wheels are original to the bike, but since it is a touring model, it make sense that this bike would have clinchers rather than sew-ups.
Hope this helps

Hello all,
I am seeking information on a set of wheels that I picked up this weekend. My original plan was to take the 1972 Campy high flange hubs and build a set of sewups for my Raleigh Pro. I am wondering if these wheels came on a Schwinn Paramount and therefore should be left as is. The tires are 27 x 1 1/8 Schwinn Super Record in excellent condition. The 36 hole Rigida rims are wide, approx 25 mm, with a yellow oval label. I have not come across this rim before. Four cross spokes hold this wheelset together. I cannot remember the brand of spokes, these have the half moon on the swaged end. Thanks for any information. Photos gladly emailed by request.
