Subject: [CR]Pesacadero ride report

Pescadero California ,that is this was the long planned but often put off ride called by Dave Martinez
We had a pretty nice turn out (and If I forgot anyone please forgive me I am a few thousand miles from my notes)
Martinez clan aboard a Jack Taylor curved tube and Hetchins "Spider"?
Marc St martin on his Ron Cooper
Brad "mr Zeus" Stockwell on a Derosa
Jon Brownell making his first ride with us on his Roberts
          Greg Davis on his Carlton
Sarah Clementson on her Waterford(it wasnt the Jack Taylor?)
Eric Meddaugh on his Raleigh International
myself on my 1970 Hetchins VMIII
We rode out and around the thriving metropolis of Pesacadero population 100 counting dogs and cats.
The weather was absolutlely stunning with blue skys and 70o temperatures
We visited the lighthouse , the park produced a fun 2 mile climb and we probably managed a 25 miler or so over roads named Artichoke (I swear I saw a skull and crossbones sign on the park climb)
A super downhill run put us back in Pescadero where we had lunch at the village bakery(not to be confused with the Bovine bakery at PRS) but the tables out back were nicely tree shaded and we were able to talk the old talk for a couple of hours before it was time to head home.
Brad Stockwell won the Iron Man awared for both riding to the location but also home over what was a 22 minute low gear climb and since Brad mentioned it as beeing "challeging" any of us lesser mortals would have found it more in the "KILLER" range
I am unable to put a link to the photos but they are in Brads wooljersey folder under wooljersey,com/gallery/v/stockweb/RIDE-PHOTOS/06-09sept16/ or there abouts
