I looked at 'em side to side, they are less similar than I might have expected.

The IRD sprockets are highly polished and chromed. The SunRace sprockets are a dull chrome finish. Some of the SunRace bigger sprockets on the one I checked (13-28 7-speed) had small holes drilled in them for lightness (or cosmetics...)
