No powder coat for me thank you. I've done a few frames in rattle can. See the Peugeot fixer and Raleigh SuperCourse: http://www.wooljersey.com/gallery/main.php?g2_itemId=140639

The Peugeot was done in Ford truck white (the decals you see are the originals, carefully masked off): http://www.duplicolor.com/products/truckvansuv.html

The Raleigh's done in Rustoleum "Painter's Touch" Apple Red. ( they make a lot more than plain 'ol Rustoleum we've known for years) http://www.rustoleum.com/brand.asp?frm_brand_id=14&SBL=1

The prep is the big time eater. What you end up with depends a lot on what's underneath.
