It just occurred to me that we are holding this event on a Saturday and no t the normal Sundays, So the CHURCH Parking Lot on the corner of 20th and E street, ½ a block South of my House, is also available for parking. Th e next San Diego Vintage Ride and BBQ Party will be held on Saturday, September 9th. This ride is going to be a Track Bike Velodrome event (Fixed gear Track bikes Only). So get out your old Cinelli Sprint, Masi Special and Pogliaghi Pursuit Bikes. Please bring your Wives and Girl friends. This Ride BBQ Party is a lot of fun. Start time 9:00am for
a light breakfast of Donuts, fruit and Coffee. At 10:30am we will drive to or ride the 1-mile or so to the Velodrome in Balboa Park. Well hit th e boards for about an hour of fun and find out if Brian Baylis is still the fastest man on the track. About 12:00 noon well head back to the house for BBQ lunch in Party.
Ill have a TV on the deck so we can watch Tour DVDs. Party will e nd when Joe Bell decides its time to go home.
