Subject: [CR]Clements Cycles once more

Hi All

I want to have another go at unravelling the mystery of a bike I used to have. It was a Clements, no mention of Ernie anywhere on it. 531, with half chrome forks, but suicide levers on the brakes, and I don't remember details of the group. I've asked about this before on here, but the only opinions have been that it might have been built by Ernie after he left Falcon. Since then, I've had two other interesting observations. One older bike fan who I bought a frame from told me that Ernie had a brother who also built bikes, but I've got no further on that front. The other is that at least 3 Clements similar to mine have appeared on Ebay. Sadly I don't have pics, but they all have the half-chrome forks, they've all been either British racing green or a kind of maroon colour, and all have had the same Clements script I remember, but no mention of Ernie. Also, every single on has been in Yorkshire. I wonder if this signifies something? The one I had, I purchased on the Isle of Wight, but I thought it might be worth prodding listmembers memories again, and adding my new little factlets. Very grateful for any info

Cheers
